Whether you buy the template or find it free, you have to conform to its style unless you know your way around HTML or other language it is written in. You might be able to copy the look of the template when using a web site builder you purchase or use from the hosting company you plan to build your website on, but it never seems to be exactly what you want. These basic Demo templates you can view here, are generally the same. Some of theses web site templates are 3 column, left side navigation pages, with content, color, and position controlled by css, others are two column top navigation, again controlled by css. . Positioning, width, and graphics make the difference. These demos are all designed for best viewing with a browser size 1024 by 768 screen resolution. Probably the most used resolution. It is readable with smaller screen sizes and centers well in larger screen resolutions.
Navigation is pure css controlled, but flash menus can be used easily.
